### What types of medical certificates does Tealio Support?
Tealio supports a diverse array of standardized Occupational Health medical and fitness certificates including industry specific certificates as Oil & Gas UK (OGUK/OEUK), NOGEPA, and Annexure 3 (Occupational Health and Safety Act 85/1993). ### Generate a Digital Certificate
Ensure patient has a set fitness status prior to generating medical or fitness certificates. Read more about [How to Set Patient Fitness Status](https://help.tealio.ai/articles/how-to-set-patient-fitness-status).

Once the fitness status is set, click 'Sign & Generate Certificate' and select 'Generate Medical Certificate' from the dropdown. Choose which certificates you want to generate and click 'Yes'.

The system will generate the certificate in a PDF format. The digital version of the certificate is accessible on the patient's page under the "Documents" section.

How to generate a digital medical certificate?

Users with the 'Professional' or 'Admin' roles can set patients fitness statuses or record statuses and digitally sign certificates or reports.

It is best practise to first sign the health records or assessments before signing the patient or record status. Read more here: [How do I digitally sign health records or assessments?](https://tealio.ai/help/articles/how-do-i-digitally-sign-health-records "Sign health records")

### Sign with a Digital Signature 
To add personal information and digital signature, access the ‘Professional Details’ by clicking your name at the bottom right of the page (or initials on the top left - for mobile) and then select ‘Edit Profile’. ###  Sign Patient Fitness Status or Record Compliant Result
1. Login to your Tealio account and navigate to the requested patient or record (This could be an audit or learner) page. 
2. Review the assessments and click 'Sign & Generate Certificate' and select 'Generate Medical Certificate' from the dropdown
3. Set the status, certificate expiration, add comments  and complete the additional fields if applicable. 
4. Click 'Submit' to digitally sign the  status or 'Submit and Generate Certificate' to set the status and generate a certificate.

The applied status will appear on both the record and, if applicable, on a the certificate generated.

Generate a course or training certificate

Staying proactive is a crucial step in maintaining employees health and safe work environment. Tealio provides seamless tools to ensure employees adherence with safety and health regulations and tracking required follow-ups due to injuries, illness, or back-to-work procedures. 

###  Track Certificates Expiration 
Keep tabs on certificate expiration, ensuring timely reminders regarding necessary periodic health assessments. Timely notifications will foster ongoing relationships with employers, while increasing employee safety and maintaining steady workload at your clinic. 

 **Certificates Expiration**

1. Login to your Tealio account and navigate to the ‘Patients’ tab. 
2. Press the filter on the top right of patients the list.
3. Select the desired option under ‘Patient Fitness Expiration‘.

The filtered list will reflect the patients require a call back for a medical evaluation.

###  Follow Up 
Follow-up is available to monitor and stay on top of patients in need of additional medical surveillance. Create custom reports across your projects. Gain insights over health assessment results, to identify trends and potential risks. 

 **Monitor Fitness Status**

1. Navigate to the desired project.
2. On the Project Overview press the 'Follow-Up' tab.
3. The 'Flagged Patients' list displays the patients which were flagged and require additional evaluation or monitoring.

1. Navigate to the Patients. 
2. Press the filter on the top right of patients the list.
3. Select the desired option under ‘Patient Fitness Status’.


Monitor certificates expiration and required follow-ups

It is not possible to update a certificate once it has been generated. If you wish to generate a new certificate to replace it, please take the following steps:

__Step 1. Archive the current certificate__

Go to the Documents section at the bottom of the record page and click on the certificate. At the bottom of the certificate view click the Status and select 'Archive'.

Refresh the page and scroll down to the Documents section. Click on the new certificate and ensure your signature and all the details are displayed correctly.

Can I edit or archive a certificate?

Once a certificate is created, it is available in PDF format on the record page for future reference. 

### How can I view the digital certificate?

Navigate to the page of the requested record. A digital copy of the certificate will be available in the "Documents" section of the page. In some cases, the record may have multiple certificates. Select the desired certificate to open and view it.

### How can I ensure the confidentiality and security of the fitness certificate?

Tealio is a secure platform with the necessary protocols in place to ensure confidentiality and security of data. Access controls are in place to ensure secure access to the records,  data, and certificates.

### How can I share a certificate?

Tealio simplifies the process of sharing certificates with relevant stakeholders. You can easily add collaborators to access project data or send  an email with secure access to view the data and certificates. If you don't see this option in your account, please reach out to us at support@tealio.ai for assistance.

### Can I download or print a certificate?

__Security Note!__
Tealio provides companies with a secure data storage, easily accessible by the various stakeholders at any time. To adhere with health and privacy regulations, it is not recommended to download or print employees confidential information including their health assessments or certificates of fitness. 

__Download Certificate__
Press the "Download" button located at the bottom of the certificate view. The certificate will be automatically generated and downloaded as a PDF file. You can find the downloaded file in the default download location on your device. After downloading a certificate, make sure to adhere to the relevant data protection and privacy protocols outlined in your organization's policies.

__Print Certificate__
After downloading a certificate, find it in your device's downloads folder and proceed to print the PDF. 
Note that Tealio offers the option to keep the digital records on its secure storage, readily accessible for future reference, for any duration required by law.
