Health records can be signed at the end of the exam by the relevant medical personnel if they have ‘Admin‘ or ‘Health Professional‘ user roles. 

### Update Medical Profile
To add medical information and digital signature, access the ‘Professional Details’ by clicking the initials at the top right corner of the page and then select ‘Edit Profile’. ### Review & Sign a Health Record
At the patient page, review the medical records and press ‘Sign’. You may select multiple health records to sign together, however if you wish to set the patient’s health status and add observation or follow-up recommendations you may sign a single record at a time. Press the ‘Submit’ button to digitally sign the record. 

__Please Note__ - If you want to update your Medical ID, Practice Number or Digital Signature, The Change will not reflect on your previously generated certificates. If you'd like to change your credentials on the generated certificate before the credentials change, please resign the health records and [follow these steps](https://help.tealio.ai/articles/how-to-archive-a-certificate).

### Can I change a health record after it has been signed?
Once a health record is signed it can no longer be modified.

How do I digitally sign health records?

Add new health record functionality is available from the patient record and from the ‘Quick Actions’ on the main navigation. Once a new record is created you can select whether the record type is screening or medical examination. In addition the record may include tests of different assessment types (e.g vision, hearing, physical, etc.) or you can choose to create a separate record for every assessment type. 

What types of medical records available?

You can modify the validity of a health record in two ways:

**Project Settings:**
   - Access your project settings.
   - Click on "Edit" for the specific health record.
   - Adjust the "Health Record Valid Until" date.
   - Save your changes.

**Organization Settings:**
   - Navigate to your organization settings.
   - Go to the "Health Records" section.
   - Find the health record and change the "Health Record Expiration Date."
   - Save your changes.

### How is the validity period of a health record determined?

The validity of a health record is calculated based on the examination date. Adjusting the validity changes how long the health record remains valid from the examination date.

### Can I change the validity of a health record for the entire organization?

Absolutely. In your organization settings, you can navigate to the "Health Records" section, locate the specific health record, and change the "Health Record Expiration Date." This adjustment will impact the entire organization.

### Will changing the validity of a health record affect historical data?

No, modifying the validity of a health record will not alter historical data or the examination date. It only influences the future accessibility and relevance of the record based on the new validity period.
